Why Item Upgrade Should Be Your Next Big Obsession

The upgrade of gear can increase its stats base and often boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations applied.

For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, like armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced by another item upgrading of the same type, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original level of the item and any money wasted won't get compensated.

Survivors can obtain reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or purchased at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on an item for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment in three attributes that include physical power, magical power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by melee and weapons, while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To create them, you need a higher level reroll token. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next successful result is rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they display an explanation and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.

This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls, and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. These stones can also be obtained by players who sign daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he is able to hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level by a specific percentage. The process of upgrading can last from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not affect the item's longevity. This is an excellent choice for those who wish to get an edge in combat, but don't want to burden their wallets. Furthermore players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for players who are new to the game. There are a variety of methods to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows you to increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is accomplished by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade item components and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in the area. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.

Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at a time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a specific quantity of items to be applied and an initial level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left one is where players can put in an item to be upgraded, and the right shows a preview of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. When players have enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item upgrader is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.

When an item reaches its maximum level, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an additional effect or benefit while the equipment is in use. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade.

Requirements

Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain stats of weapons and armor that they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade tokens.

Upgrades to items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is placed into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and also provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire", however increases damage to weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get a perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

The game will highlight the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
