Although the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly however we've found it be less reliable than other apps that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to know if they are working until you actually see them in action.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products can be controlled via only a few buttons on your device or through the Roborock App. With the app you can begin and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones, and adjust your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ it comes with a brand new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it's in place, emptying the bin is easy. It also features a large LCD display, which is nice to have when setting up schedules or altering settings. This isn't a necessity for everyone however it can aid in keeping track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design and functionality are among the top available however, it's also expensive.

The base station is attractive and is hidden when it's not in use, and its dimensions are quite small. It's not able to climb stairs as well as competitors, either and it doesn't have a dock that allows you to create an exclusive cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who need a robot vacuum that does it all.

If you're looking to cut costs or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are other options available. A lot of eufy models are significantly less.
