Why Item Upgrade Is More Dangerous Than You Thought

Upgrades can increase the power of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations that are applied.

The racial Shield elite Razortail, for example, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. This swaps the current item for one similar item with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original equipment's condition, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.

The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates, or purchased from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item such as increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks while spell power improves mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To make them, you'll need an upgrade level token to reroll. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next Success is rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they're opened they will display a complete description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.

This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This affects which blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones which increase the value of an item upgrader kit by increasing its stats or characteristics. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After choosing the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item upgrades.

Leveling

For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.

The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) the level of the item and the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
