Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations applied.

The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capability in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired, such as armor, weapon or rings. The item is replaced with another item of the same type, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the level of the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.

The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in chests and crates or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment in three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power increases the damage done by weapons and melee attacks and spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To create them, you'll need an Upgrade Item level reroll token. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next successful result is repeated. This helps to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of every preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. Once they're opened they show a complete description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available to reroll, and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.

The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for players who are new to the game. However, there are numerous ways to obtain these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item upgrade with upgrade materials, and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item a boost in that particular area. This process continues until the item reaches its maximum level.

Items that have upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at the same time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a certain quantity of items to be added and an appropriate level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add items to be upgraded. On the right, previews show what the gear will look like at its next level. When players have enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.

An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the stats of the base item will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item upgrader is 19.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained by completing quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be removed and replaced at will.

Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of an item.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and also gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Certain items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats, but because it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.

The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item level upgrade. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

Once you've met the required conditions for upgrading The game will then place the Best item upgrader in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to show how close to completing it. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
