How to Replace an audi a1 key G28 Engine Speed Sensor

The sensor is used as a reference point to connect with the G40 Camshaft Position Sensor. The ecu has to be aware of when the crankshaft has reached TDC, and the position of the camshaft, in order to activate the spark and injectors.
If this sensor fails the ECU will display the P00160 error, which means the Crank Shaft and Intake Camshaft aren't in sync and could indicate the chain stretching or a jump link on the upper chain of timing. The code will not appear without the additional information provided by other sensors (G4 or G40).
Testing is a bit tricky because there are two connector pins, and they perform different functions however the best method to test it is to measure resistance between the sensor and the ECU. When the sensor is fully functional, it should read approximately 1000 ohms. Look for signs of coolant, or oil in the connector bay if there are issues with this component.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating at full speed from the highway paytoll i had a big cut in power as if the engine was running out of gas or the injectors are not firing at all. This morning i pull out the spark plugs, 3 were drenched with gazoline the fourth one was dry. When I start the engine with no sparks, I put a piece of tissue on the top of each hole in the injector, the 3 drenched with gazoline jump out but the 4th stays shut. I tested the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30 and 48/55. I got zero ohm. I'm assuming that the issue is in another location.
I also tried to reset the PID without success. The car will start when the G28 is unplugged, and it runs fine with the G28 connected. However, the intermittent misfire problem still occurs at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for the coolant (G62) shows the wrong temp value that is -49c even after unplugging it. I also noticed that the gauge for oil pressure in the cockpit is showing 2 bar when the actual pressure is 0.0 when I crank up the engine.
I'm not certain what to do, but i feel i have pretty much ruled out everything else. But i'm worried that i might have missed something. If anyone has any suggestions, please chime in! TIA!

You can easily find an extra in a wrecking shop or a parts store.
