Are Item Upgrade Just As Important As Everyone Says?

Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.

The elite racial Shield Razortail For instance, it is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item like an armor, weapon or rings. The item is replaced with another of the same kind however with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they don't retain the level of the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded.

The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of an Best item upgrader of equipment for example, increasing its damage.

Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To create them, you need a higher level token to reroll. Upgrades require a common item upgrade. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces, remains on the space until the next Success is rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of every Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grasping them. When they are opened they will display a complete description and icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

In the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by improving its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. They can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.

After choosing the item to upgrade items the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he is able to select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. The system is an excellent option for players who wish to get an edge in combat, but don't want to burden their wallets. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item onto a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It's done by adding upgrade components at the upgrade items Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been reached.

Items with upgraded base stats will display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at the same time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a specific number of items to be added, as well as a minimum amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once is a player has enough resources will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons in order to provide an additional effect or benefit while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs that can be removed and replaced at will.

Requirements

item upgrades (check out here) give players the ability to boost certain stats of armor and weapons that they currently own. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the type of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide extra effects or an increased item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is placed into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage to weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve an exact roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will display an open window that displays the requirements required for that item. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will put an item in your inventory after you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how far to getting the upgrade completed. You can also verify the status of an upgrade item by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
