World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The upgrade option allows players to boost an item upgrade's gear rating up 700 points, and then add a final bonus. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory, and then taking them to the kiln.

Certain items can be upp'd to increase their stats (like perfect made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) while others like weapons don't change much post upgrade, and therefore aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to improve their numeric stats, such as crit chance, attack damage PvE and damage to PvP. They also have an unchanging bonus that increases their damage per second. Many weapons also come with an unaffected bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are placed in a single unit. In certain instances, this bonus could amount to more than the amount of damage a weapon upgrades on its own.

The cost of upgrading a weapon depends on its rarity and level. For example the weapon with a +2 rating will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while the +3 model requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a weapon will continue increase until it requires a higher tier of Smithing Stones, at which point it will reset to one.

Upgrading weapons will also reroll their base stats. This is generally a positive thing, but it can also have negative consequences. Upgrades can make items inaccessible, unless you're very lucky.

The ability to upgrade armor items to increase their effectiveness. This will increase the defense of a helm or chest while belts and gloves can boost their strength and agility. Armor offers a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it can sometimes reroll down to a lower value.

The upgrade template for a weapon will display the new stats it will gain upon upgrading and their respective values. This means that a weapon will gain 3% attack damage if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. The 3% doesn't mean that the weapon will be hit 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.

Rerolling a weapon is also possible by pressing the green button within the item menu, using the circling arrows. The item will be rerolled and alter its stats, but it will not reset the weapon's levels or connect it to an account's status.

Armor

A few tweaks to your armor could make a a huge difference in your ability to endure. Certain sets offer massive increases in resistance to curses, poison fire, magic, and other. This makes it easier to traverse difficult terrains. In general, the greater defense your character is, the more value you will get out of each point of health and it's crucial to upgrade your armor as much as possible.

To improve your armor, head to any of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four Great Fairy Fountains within the game and in order to unlock each fountain, you must complete an additional quest involving the Stable Trotters. After you've completed the main side quest and mastered the fountain that corresponds you'll be able to talk to any Great Fairy to open up the menu for upgrading your armor.

The amount of materials required to upgrade each piece of armor will vary. In general, you'll need at anywhere between three Red Chuchu Jellies and ten Rupees for the first upgrade, then anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent upgrade. For instance the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep up with a large group of adversaries in most cold climates, and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded to +20 defense, granting the protection needed to survive a full on raid with a handful of friends.

It's important to note that armor cannot be upgraded in the same way as weapons, so you'll want to work on upgrading it for physical power if you're a Warrior or Spell Power when you're Mage. It's also worthwhile to save your armor upgrades for the armor you'll be wearing at the end of the game, like the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield, or the helmet you wear for the final boss fight, the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.

You can also gain perks for your armor by giving the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. It is generally recommended to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to beat the game. For example the Longsword or Battleaxe. However, it's beneficial to have some upgrades to the helmets and chest armor to let you sneak around some monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquids that, when consumed by the participant, produce a temporary effect for a short period of time. There are five kinds of potions, each having particular effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded, increasing their level of effect. You can also increase the effects of certain potions by adding glowstone dust and redstone.

Potion upgrades cost a specific amount of XP, which can be earned by making them using a craft table or the Alchemist's chest. The price of upgrades varies based on the type of potion as well as the item's Rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open an GUI that allows you to select the potion you would like to upgrade and the amount of experience they'll provide when upgraded. Upgrading potions can be done in batches of up to five at a time and the XP that they generate will be added to your current XP count.

Once a potion is upgraded and stored, it will not degrade unless you use it again or break the bottle within which it is stored. You can also rename the potion by clicking it in your inventory.

Version 1.7.2 introduced a few modifications to the mechanism of potions. For example splash potions now have an average duration of zero,08 seconds (this is not the equivalent of 22.5 seconds shown on the hover display of the item Upgrader Kit). The potion table can now be crafted with four Wood Planks and two Glass. This allows it to be utilized by players playing Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons, unlike Java Edition. The same applies to using a potion within a cauldron that is full. This will drain the potion, and refill the bottle.

In addition, there are lingering potions, which are made with dragon breath and splash potions. Redstone can also be added to lingering potions to extend their effects. The potion table has been rearranged to appear more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added like the potion of leaping and decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket can be an ornamental item upgrader mod that is small, cheap or piece jewelry. It could also be a small ornament or object that serves a purpose, but is not important such as a trinket. In certain cultures, a trinket is used to express affection or friendship between family members.

Players can upgrade trinkets in addition to weapons or armor, as well as potions. Upgrades can be made by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Unlike other item upgrades trinkets are able to be swapped out at will without losing their status.

upgrade item vendors can be found at the capitals of every zone, and sometimes in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are offered with tokens, gold, or fragments from trinkets that are rare.

Upgrading a trinket is an economical alternative to buying new ones. A player can upgrade their trinket for as little 12 tokens. The new trinket has the same base level as the old trinket, but it also comes with an additional bonus of 1% upgrade.

Once the old Trinkets are not usable they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase their power and value over time. They can be traded between players, making them an alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most important items first. This usually refers to the most valuable-in-slot items for their class, then their secondaries, and finally other gear items that they won't replace in the near future (for example an earring or cloak). When choosing the items to upgrade, players must also be aware of their class's preferred statistics. For instance, if Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tankers, they should be focusing on upgrading their helm, chest, shoulders, and belt.

Once they have become useless, trinkets can be upgraded to a higher level. The new trinket comes with an additional 1percent bonus. Re-upgrading will cause the trinket to be destroyed unless it can be salvaged with a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a higher tier salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets can be more expensive than other upgrades but still less expensive than purchasing new ones.
