Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.

For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you buy a new item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. This swaps the current item upgrader mod for one similar item and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade gear. They don't maintain the original level of the item and any wasted resources will not be refunded.

The survivors can get tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates, or purchased at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment using three aspects three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks and spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces, remains on the space until the next Success is rerolled. This allows you to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of each Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's store will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired through quests or traded between players.
