It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to identify pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robot vacuum that vacuums and mops auto vacuum and mop has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad at over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting system which lifts the pad when it goes from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be washed and heat-dried within the dock and the dust container is automatically empty and returned to it. You can set it up and forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and return to its base for a recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it's costly. But its abundance of features makes it a very tempting choice for anyone looking to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mop. We highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its robust feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop sets available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well throughout the home. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of debris from any type of floor and was able to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed well and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's main selling point is its innovative docking station that is multi-functional. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank for mopping, and dry its mop pads for you. It also has an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its smart controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid mop I tried. In addition it's not as adept at removing tough stains like those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it still requires regular maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base station, dustbag, and water tanks need to be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. The mop pads that are sold separately also require changing regularly.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a budget I suggest a more basic model that allows you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could buy but its cost and constant maintenance would make it more an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and remove dirt from your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop set-up comes with a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also has a large battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. And it is equipped with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It even comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-cleaning to rinse off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of fresh Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes, or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station, which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements and dumped into a larger storage bin. The tank onboard holds a decent amount of water, and can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box, just like most other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This can be done in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you do choose to use this feature you'll have to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot cleaner with mop brands that permit you to use your personal cleaning products.

Like most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map a space and navigated around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with longer piles several times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum. However, it has some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system is able to be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is ideal for removing pet hair and debris on carpets.

The app that runs this appliance is fairly dense, with a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually initiate a full map and take care to clean everything that is that is mapped by the device or you can select particular rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

Like the other Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system performs well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in a neat way. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. There's a good workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping feature of the vacuum to eliminate the last remnants of dust and debris that are left behind by your vacuuming. It's a nice touch and can help the robot to make its clean better than its less expensive competitors.
