We've seen a few combinations that can only be attached or removed using straps, which may seem like an extra step and make it more difficult for parents to secure the car seat properly.

The BOB Revolution Flex Combo is a great choice for its sturdy construction and practical features, including a large storage bin that is accessible from the front or back. Easy to Assemble

Other models we tried like the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule Urban Glide best 2 in 1 prams and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal, were also fairly simple to put together. In contrast the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together as it requires two steps to assemble - attaching the lower anchors and using straps that are placed over the bottom portion of the carrier. It's also heavy, and it requires two hands to click the carrier into the base and then remove it from there.

In our tests, we took just 5 minutes to put together the UPPAbaby v2 Cruz. This is a quick process when you take into account the time saved from not having to rip out all the pieces. Most of these models have a simple process for attaching and detaching the toddler's seat, as well.
