Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've always wanted to buy a robot vacuum now is the time. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.

eureka-e20-plus-robot-vacuum-with-bagless-self-emptying-station-robotic-vacuum-and-mop-combo-45-day-capacity-upgraded-8000pa-suction-and-anti-hair-tangling-brush-lidar-navigation-app-control-1425-small.jpgThe Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its most notable innovation is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. This uses AI to detect objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you a photo of the object it comes across so that you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot sweeper mop we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills quickly and leaves no trace of it was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app that lets you schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't clean areas you do not want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it by voice.

Its design is also a step above the competition, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy robotic than a loud, obnoxious one. And the Clean Base best automatic floor cleaner Dirt Disposal System self-empties which is great for reducing your cleanup time.

In our tests, we discovered that the j7+ was quick to removed dust, dirt, and hair from pets. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one spot rather than sending it scattering across the floor. It was able capture small gravel, sand and even a bit of grit. Most robots could not do this. And all this without getting caught in our pet's shedding hair.

The j7+, while not as sophisticated as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot and isn't able to clean the stairs, is an excellent choice for those who need both a vacuum and a mop. It's not expensive, and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a while to download updates, and it is sometimes difficult to know whether they're working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that does more than just clean your floors then a hybrid is the ideal choice. These bots are equipped with a tank of water so they can vacuum and mop at the same time. They also come with a variety of extra features, including smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. They're expensive at retail, but they often lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock is the manufacturer of some of our favorite robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ does not perform to the standards. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and although it doesn't have some of the premium features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing sacrifice a little to save a few hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is exceptionally soft when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it an excellent option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a area where many cheaper robot vacuums aren't able to meet. The Q5+'s navigation system is excellent, with few misses on walls and corners.

Like other Roborock devices, the Q5+ can be controlled using the buttons on the device itself or through the Roborock app. The app allows you to start and stop cleanings. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas, alter your home map, or re-label the rooms.

If you choose to purchase the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock designed specifically to make this robot easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once it's installed, emptying the bin is done with relative ease. It also features an impressive LCD display, which is nice to have when you're creating schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't necessary for everyone, however it can help you easily keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both mopping and vacuuming. Its design and function are among the most advanced available however, it's also expensive.

It is a relatively small base station that looks beautiful and can be hidden when not in use. The station's main selling point is that it automates many tasks, functions and chores that other robots leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive and efficient, too. It's the only robot vacuum I've used that has done well at picking up the dust from floors with no. It's also not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially when it comes navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, which means it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the home. It's also unable to climb stairs as well as other models and isn't equipped with a docking station to create a clean zone for carpets that are soft.

Although it doesn't provide the same amount of cleaning configuration options in its app, or as many shortcuts in the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those looking for a comprehensive robot vacuum and mop that's worth the higher price cost.

If you're looking to cut costs or don't mind the limitations of the robot vacuum sale, there are other options available. A lot of eufy models are considerably less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example is a bit more expensive, but offers many more features, like stairs and a fully-function Dock, with the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on bare floors, low-pile carpets, and even high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac g30

eufy is an Anker company with a history of producing robot vacuums with the right balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors and carpets and mopping function too at an affordable price point. It's easy to set it up, simply attach one of the side brush and turn it on, then connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to place the dock close to an electrical outlet and plenty of room to allow it to move, however.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it will fit under many sofas and other furniture with low clearance. Its design is less ostentatious when compared to rival models. It features a sleek black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral pattern over two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to amazon robot vacuum Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what sets it apart from its competitors. It uses a built-in map to create an image of immovable objects it encounters while retaining what it's cleaned and where it can't access. It then returns to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning the area it left.

The elegant G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower recurring costs. It is faster to charge, has similar battery life and performs better on bare flooring or carpet with a low pile. It has a bigger dust bin that doesn't require the same amount of emptying. It also has boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't need emptying as often and it struggles less with bulky material like cereal.
