Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations that are applied.

For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an item you have acquired like an armor, weapon or rings. This swaps the current item for a different one similar item with an additional set of bonuses.
