Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

robotic-vacuum-cleaner-cleaning-the-room-while-wom-2024-11-07-13-20-10-utc-min-jpg-original.jpgThe majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customized using an app that can save maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping modes. They also let you change suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A mapping function will help your robot navigate through rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature prevents it from running over wires, furniture, or stray toys. These features are essential for my home filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, is packed with features. It's able to mop and sweep in a single session, and it can even raise its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from becoming damp. It also can avoid obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants, and other small objects.

The robot vacuum with mop vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its position, which prevents it from becoming stuck on objects.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide a deep clean. It also comes with mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. It is only necessary to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop- and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it began to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is at par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only issue is that it's expensive. The sheer amount of features makes it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this model if you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its price is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mop mops. It comes with an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is among the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. In my tests, it performed very well throughout the entire home. It was able to remove 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and managed to lift hair that was long without tangling. The mops were also great and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.

The docking station is the main selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag that can be used for dirt, refills the tank with water to use for mopping and even dries mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its smart controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tested. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be emptied and the water tank and dust bag must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads which are purchased separately, are required to be replaced periodically too.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. For those who are on a tighter budget, I suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop vacuum and robotic mop you could buy however, its price and ongoing maintenance will make it more of a want than need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that can clean up dust and dirt on your floors while cleaning up wet mess then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo is a mighty suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. It is also equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It also comes with a roller mop that cleans itself as it moves and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean to rinse off the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is almost entire width of the robot and is continuously dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. As it rotates the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements and emptied into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do most robotic vacuums and mops. It will need to be filled with clean water, however this is simple to do in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you do opt for this feature you'll have to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your own cleaner of choice.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map out a space and was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my tests, but this may be rectified as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers many functions at a affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum, but it still has some impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system is able to sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The auto vacuum and mop's suction power is great for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is quite dense, with a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start a full map and take care to clean everything that is that is mapped by the device or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like the other Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system works well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning them in a well-organized manner. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does an excellent job of covering a room, leaving no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well too, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot dangers like thick carpets but it might not always be able to detect smaller items such as rug tassels or electrical wires.

The one glaring flaw of this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option that could be a problem for people who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can use the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the last traces and dust that remained after vacuuming. It's a nice feature, and it helps the robot get rid of a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
