If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean your floors then a hybrid is the best option. These robots come with a water tank so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. These bots also come with many additional features like smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. The negative is that they can be expensive at retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.

Roborock has some of our top robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. This is the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it might not have some of the more premium features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) but it's an excellent choice if you are willing to make some compromises to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is noticeable gentle around obstacles like wall legs and table legs and walls, which makes it an excellent choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to cleaning dust bunnies, which is a problem where cheaper robot vacuums often be a bit sloppy. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent as well, with only a few missed corners and along walls.

It's not able to navigate stairs as well as some competitors, either and it doesn't have a dock that lets the user to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets that are soft.

Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning-related options in its app or as many shortcuts in the app as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for a comprehensive mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the premium price cost.

If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are many other options on the market. A lot of eufy models are considerably less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers a similar in-app experience with additional features such as stairs, a fully-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.

It also comes with border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 is, on the other hand is less expensive and much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't need emptying as often and it struggles less with heavy materials such as cereal.
