It has a 4600mAh battery which can last up to 170 mins when mopping and sucking is set to standard mode. (It can be more efficient when using turbo). It will even return to its dock to recharge its battery during the cleaning.

It's efficient and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted areas extremely quickly, and hardwood floors in the hallways, and living room in a single pass. Its 8,000pa suction motor makes short work of picking up dirt, crumbs and pet hair. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it encounters rugs and the two side brushes help pull out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance, while still impressive, isn't as good. The mop rotates quickly and makes use of 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arms extend out a bit more than other robots, which can be helpful for getting into tight corners and along baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to pick up larger pieces of debris, like broken toys and books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've used. It is quieter and doesn't produce as much noise when mopping or vacuuming. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it has to use a mopping solution that is proprietary and is sold separately. It's simple to install and performs well however this is something you'll need to be aware of in case you're purchasing this vacuum for the sole reason of mopping.

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. However, it has some unique features which are worth a look. The X1 Omni is notable for its enormous dock that doubles as a charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two water tanks of 4 liters. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin and the 2.5 milliliter dust bin.

The base also comes with a set of control buttons that allow you to start a cleaning task and then recall the robot or use the dock's automatic emptying process. Hold down two of the buttons to switch on the child lock, which is a nice touch for parents worried about kids tinkering with the vacuum.

Similar to other robotic hoovers vacuums, the Omni Omni uses its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni will sometimes get so entangled with obstacles, like a power cord draped across a rug that it becomes stuck and stops working until you free it. Although this is not a common occurrence, it was a frustrating experience when it happened, especially since the X1 Omni does not come with a "stuck" status alert on its application.

Another issue that could be a problem is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically change between vacuuming and mopping modes during the cleaning process. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad, except that the mopping pad isn't cleaned or dried between use. This can lead to mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), who created its sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a big contrast to the basic black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. And it's a welcome sight for a market dominated by clunky boxy units.
